New Aftermarket Spark Plugs now available for Mercedes models and also new glow plugs for Opel models

NGK Spark Plugs, the leading spark and glow plug manufacturer, has announced that two new spark plugs for fitment to recent Mercedes models are now available in stock to meet Aftermarket demand. In addition, the Company has announced Aftermarket availability for a new glow plug for Opel models.

NGK’s ILFR6A iridium spark plug is now available for fitment to 19 Mercedes models introduced between 2000 and January 2005 ranging from C160 1.8 litre Kompressor to the 5.4 litre SLR McLaren. The actual Mercedes Part Number is A0041591303.

Another high performance spark plug now available to the Aftermarket is NGK’s PFR5R-11 for fitment to 66 Mercedes models introduced between 1997 and February 2006. These range from the 2.4 litre C240 V6 and E240 V6 to the 7.3 litre version of the SL73 AMG. The actual Mercedes Part Number is A0031599403.

NGK’s Y-541J glow plug is now available to the Aftermarket for fitment to six Opel 1.7 litre models ranging from the Astra G of September 1999 to the Astra H introduced in March 2004. The actual Opel Part Number is

1 21 43 01.
